Infor extends CloudSuite to services and manufacturing sectors

Enterprise software firm Infor has extended its CloudSuite software to the services and manufacturing industries with newly redesigned features.

The Infor CloudSuite Business has now been made available for the service industries while the Infor CloudSuiteTM Industrial (SyteLine) has been extended to the manufacturing industry.

CloudSuite Business has been designed for managing finances, multiple currencies, and reporting. The redesigned software, version 9.01, has improved the user experience, according to Infor, and integrates with other Infor products like Infor ION, Infor Ming.le, Infor Document Management (IDM), and Infor Mongoose.

“With Infor, organizations get a complete, scalable, enterprise business management suite designed to address modern challenges,” said Kenneth Fung, vice president of industry and solution strategy.

The latest version of Infor CloudSuite Industrial (SyteLine) includes similar integrations with other Infor products but is targeted at the industrial sector, whether it’s small manufacturers or larger original equipment manufacturers. Along with finance and currency management, it includes “Pick, Pack, and Ship” features designed specifically for manufacturing and supply chain companies.

According to Mark Humphlett, senior director of industry and solution strategy, the software can be personalised to meet users’ “unique requirements”, especially when it comes to manufacturing.

“Manufacturers need solutions that can simplify complex supply chains and help them to deliver on time, every time, in order to get products to market faster and deliver on customer commitments” he said.
