Acumatica WMS is the warehouse management module within Acumatica Cloud ERP.

It adds barcode scanning and a mobile app to the ERP’s inventory, sales order, and purchasing functions, so warehouse staff can record receiving, put-away, transfers, picking, packing, shipping, and physical counts on handheld devices.

Because the module runs inside the ERP, each scan updates the same inventory record that finance, sales, and purchasing teams use.

Key features

Warehouse setup. Administrators define rows, aisles, shelves, and bins, and can apply ABC classifications to guide storage decisions. Carts and totes support paperless picking and put-away, and workers can add totes during a task.
Receiving and inventory control. Workers scan items to receive stock, confirm quantities, and follow system-directed put-away to the correct bin. The module also handles warehouse transfers, inbound transfer receipts, and cycle counts from mobile devices. A stock turnover inquiry helps teams find slow-moving items and adjust replenishment.
Picking. Directed picking queues appear on mobile devices or rugged scanners and support single-order, wave, and batch picking. Unit-of-measure picking allocates pallet, case, and each quantities across bulk, case-pick, and fast-pick zones. Administrators choose how workers enter quantities: scan each unit, type the amount manually, or start from the requested quantity. Lot, serial, and expiration checks apply in each mode, and staff can change a pick location during the task when stock has moved.
Packing and shipping. Packing captures items, lots, and serial numbers by barcode and can connect to digital scales and label printers. For parcel shipping, Acumatica connects to UPS, FedEx, and USPS through EasyPost and ShipEngine. Marketplace apps cover LTL carriers and EDI documents such as the 856 ASN, 850 Purchase Order, and 810 Invoice. Rate shopping lists the lowest-cost services first and shows which ones meet the requested delivery date. Users can also review suggested address corrections before labels print, and customers can receive tracking links automatically.
Reporting. Role-based dashboards cover shipments, receipts, on-time shipping, fill rates, late orders, and productivity for warehouse, purchasing, shipping, and receiving roles. Exception-based alerts flag problems for managers, and a Pick/Pack Efficiency inquiry reports on labor activity. An optional connected label application, Asgard Label, creates linear and 2D data matrix labels with part numbers, lot and serial details, and expiration dates.
