P4 Warehouse

P4Warehouse is a cloud-based warehouse management system built to handle the full movement of inventory from goods receipt through to dispatch. It runs entirely in a web browser, requires no server installation, and is designed for teams operating across multiple warehouses, companies, or 3PL client accounts from a single platform.

The system sits within the broader P4 Software suite (a subsidiary of Grupo Barrdega), which also includes P4 Books for accounting and P4 Customs for customs management. P4Warehouse originated in Toronto and is now available across North America, Latin America, and Europe.

Who it's for 

P4Warehouse is for warehouses that have outgrown spreadsheets or basic inventory tools but don't necessarily need the scale or cost of an enterprise ERP. The platform suits:

• 3PL providers running multiple client accounts, each with their own billing rules, inventory configurations, and reporting requirements
• Distribution centres managing high SKU volumes, lot tracking, or expiry-sensitive stock

The native Android application (optimised specifically for Zebra mobile scanners) is popular among organisations already running Zebra hardware on the warehouse floor.

Core features

• Inventory control: P4Warehouse tracks inventory in real time across multiple warehouse locations. It handles decimal quantities, multi-pack sizes, serial numbers, lot numbers, and expiry dates. FIFO and FEFO rotation rules are enforced automatically, and the system sends alerts as stock approaches expiration.

• Receiving and put-away: Inbound movements are captured electronically at the point of receipt. Staff label and identify items on arrival, and the system directs put-away to the correct bin locations.

• Picking and fulfilment: Zone-based picking reduces travel time on the warehouse floor. Staff access pick instructions through handheld Android devices, with barcode scanning used to validate each step. Orders can be tracked and assigned individually, and the system supports wave management for higher-volume operations.

• 3PL billing: P4Warehouse captures client-specific billing workflows including automatic invoicing based on storage periods and handling activity, without requiring manual calculation.

• Reporting and dashboards: The platform uses an ELT (Extract, Load, Transform) approach to reporting, pulling transactional data from across the system into dashboards that cover inventory levels, order status, and operational performance. Reports can be segmented by client, warehouse, or product category.

• Compliance tracking: Serial and lot numbers, expiry dates, and FIFO/FEFO rules are tracked at the item level. This supports operations in regulated industries (food, pharma, medical devices) where audit trails are a practical necessity.

• Multilingual support: Warehouse floor staff can access the interface in their own language, which matters for operations running teams across different countries or language groups.

• GS1 label support: Items can be labelled to GS1 standards on arrival, which is relevant for operations supplying major retailers or operating within supply chains that require standardised barcoding.

Integrations

P4Warehouse connects to other systems through a RESTful API. Pre-built integrations are available for:
